Today I have a very important question for you.
A question that can completely change your life if you allow it to and that is…..
…… Do you enjoy the waiting game?
Do you enjoy waiting for your relationships to be how you want them to be?
Do you enjoy waiting for more abundance to flow into your life?
Do you enjoy waiting for fun and all those good feelings of peace and joy?
Because most of us think that there is something that is out there in the future, something that is not in our life today that is going to give us that feeling that we want.
Ultimately, we’re not looking for things in life – I know it feels like we are but we are really looking for feelings.
We are looking for the feelings that we think ‘the thing’ we want is going to give us…
Now happiness is different for all of us, it’s as unique as we are, we are all different, we’ve all got different things that make us happy… but whatever that is, it all boils down to this.
What you want can never be over there. It can never be somewhere far off in the future if you want it in your life now.
So you need to find a way of turning this thing totally on its head by making the decision that you are going to do something that makes you feel happy now, or makes you feel whatever feeling you are looking for, whatever you feel that thing far off in the distant future is going to give you.
Find a way to bring that in and have that feeling inside of you now.
Now whatever that feeling is that you think its going to give you – whether it’s more joy, peace, happiness – just anything that is going to give you something in life, you might need to focus on something completely different to what you feel your end goal is.
So take any part of your life that doesn’t feel right at the moment. It might be something you don’t have or something you want to improve.
What I want you to really think about and connect to is – what do you think ‘having this thing’ is going to give you? How will you feel when you get it?
If you need to, jot down a few notes, just do some journaling around this and see what comes up for you.
What feeling…. what do you think this thing is going to give you really?
Then the next step is, I want you to find a way to bring that into your life right now. I want you to find a way to bring it into the present.
For instance, if you think something is going to bring you more peace and happiness, find something that you can do right now that is going to give you that feeling of peace and happiness.
It might mean that you need more self love or self care, spending time doing something you love, walking in nature, taking a long bath, reading a great book….. anything that is going to give you that feeling of peace and love. Something that is going to bring that feeling of happiness into your life today.
So turn it on its head, end that waiting game, and start deciding to be happy now.
…. and that way, you are going to find that the things you want in life are going to come to you so much faster.
