Gratitude and appreciation is a subject that we have all talked about so many times before but I truly feel that now more than ever, this subject deserves the extra airspace and re-focus for us to remember just how important it really is…
In fact, if we made this our daily focus in some way shape or form, it truly has the power to align us with a life we love…because we are focusing on what we love! It really is that simple.
We all know that what we focus on expands, therefore keeping our focus (as much as possible) on all the amazing things that are in our life already, simply aligns us with more of that amazing stuff to flow in…
… and with all the energetic shifts happening in the world right now, this is even more important than ever. I think we all need a reminder of why it can make such a huge difference to us, our loved ones and the world around us.
Gratitude and appreciation is just like any other habit – If you commit to practising it consciously, it soon becomes an unconscious habit that simply becomes part of your life.
It really is one of the easiest ways we can focus on what is good in our life and in my opinion, one of the most important habits we can develop. If you make this a habit, you will quickly see positive changes in your life as the energy shifts and moulds your reality in ways you are simply going to love.
I know from experience that regular gratitude and appreciation will create energetic shifts that ripple out into your world in the most beautiful ways. Not only benefiting you but also impacting the people and the world around you.
Because energy is everything and as you know, energy flows where our focus goes.
Life is simply a mirror of what is going on inside of us and I truly believe that what we focus on today, creates what we will experience tomorrow… and even if we don’t see immediate physical manifestations, we can instantly feel the shift in our own energy.
By showing appreciation and gratitude for everything that you already have, you are sending a very clear message to the universe that you are open to more of the same flowing into your life.
You only have to consider times when you have done the opposite of this – those periods when you feel yourself complaining about certain areas or certain people day in, day out…. I don’t even need to explain what this does to your energy and what you start to align with as I know you have been there…… as have I, many many times!
So start becoming more aware – do you catch yourself moaning your way through life, complaining about your relationships, constantly telling everyone how you haven’t got enough money, how much you hate your job…
…or do you find yourself making lots of excuses to reinforce all the reasons that you don’t have what you want in life?…
If you aren’t getting what you want in life – start noticing which way your thoughts, words and feelings are heading – I bet it’s focused more on what you ‘don’t’ want than what you ‘do’ want!
So it’s time to choose gratitude and appreciation instead – right now, from where you are… Take the time to appreciate all the little things in life so that you can start shifting that energy into a better feeling place.
A place where you can align more fully with a life you love.
